EDvance College

Challenge
EDvance College, a new national institution focused on Early Childhood Education (ECE), needed a website that could support its accreditation process while evolving with the college as it grew. The site had to be flexible, adapting to new needs as EDvance expanded its programs and partnerships. In time it developed into a central hub for students, educators, and partners. Given EDvance’s mission to remove barriers for historically underrepresented educators through bilingual coursework, flexible schedules, and strong support systems, the design prioritized both engagement and accessibility. The scope extended beyond the website to include a brand refresh and a growing suite of print and presentation materials as the college matured.
Project Outcome
The engagement began with a brand refresh: simplifying the original logo, building a cohesive color palette, and developing image treatments that gave the college a consistent visual voice across every medium. Over two years, the work expanded into the full range of materials EDvance needed as it grew, including the website, an annual report for funders, slide decks, and supporting collateral.
The website drew directly from the refreshed brand, pairing bright color and elementary shapes with clear navigation and real student photography to reflect EDvance's community-driven mission. Spanish and Chinese language options supported the college's diverse student body. A built-in CMS allowed staff to manage events, curriculum updates, blogs, and job postings without outside help. Designed under EDvance's direction, the site also supported the college's accreditation process by integrating policies, student handbooks, and compliance resources. EDvance earned national accreditation and is now a recognized leader in early childhood education.
